The design of the Merkur 38C Heavy Duty Long Handle safety razor is based on an American barber pole. It combines the best features of Merkur’s top selling Classic Heavy Duty and Classic Long Handle. The knob at the base of the handle of this two-piece razor with long-screw mounting is turned to unscrew the top plate for loading the blade. Its larger, heavier handle measures 3-3/4” long x ½” diameter, and has a secure-grip incised spiral design. Its non-adjustable head measures 1-5/8” long x 1” wide.
