Tea Tree & Lavender Shampoo Bar : Treat your hair to a handcrafted shampoo bar that not only cleanses but also nourishes and softens as you lather. This natural shampoo bar is created with hair-loving ingredients, turning an ordinary routine into an indulgent experience. Tea Tree, Lavender, and Cedarwood essential oils benefit hair and scalp health due to their antimicrobial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties, which help reduce dandruff and soothe an itchy scalp, regulate oil production, clear clogged follicles, and potentially support hair growth by creating a healthier environment for the scalp, while their conditioning qualities can improve hair texture, add shine, and help to reduce frizz. This bar also contains a unique combination of nourishing and softening oils and butters. Jojoba oil is a penetrating moisturizer that is similar to our hair’s own natural oils and is rich in protein and minerals. A mix of olive and castor oil attracts moisture to the hair and is rich in vitamins, while cocoa butter and shea butter help to soften and moisturize. Coconut oil works to create an incredible lather, and palm oil ensures a long-lasting bar of soap. This truly versatile soap can also be used on the body making it a superb all-over cleanser. A manly-sized handmade bar that measures approximately 3½” x 2½” x 1” and weighs approximately 5 ounces. This soap is hand-poured and rough-cut. This process naturally produces irregularities in shape and surface texture (characteristics of truly handmade soap) but does not diminish the efficacy of the soap. $8.95
TRANSITIONING TO ALL-NATURAL SHAMPOO BARS: Many will not go through a transition period. For those that do, there may be a natural adjustment period depending on your hair type, your water, and the hair products you previously used. All commercial shampoos will leave a buildupon hair. Initially, our shampoo bars may not wash away this buildup, causing hair to feel coated, heavy, or waxy after the first few washes. In this case, use an Apple Cider Vinegar rinse; it helps by removing soap residue and mineral deposits from hard water. Mix 1 tablespoon of vinegar with 8 ounces of water. Pour through hair after shampooing and let it sit for a minute or two. Rinse well. The vinegar scent will not be noticeable after your hair dries. Most people are fine without an Apple Cider Vinegar rinse. Further details: About cold processed soap
