Step 1.  Hold Safety Razor firmly and push up the lid.

Step 2.  Once loosened pull off the lid.

Step 3.  Carefully place blade between index finger & thumb & insert into the Safety Razor.

Step 4.  Once blade is seated in place, then push down the lid.

Step 5.  Now set the Safety Razor for preferance. Adjustable positions from 1-6.
