Prep Face: It is most important to first prep your beard properly and to apply the soap to wet skin! Click here for how to prep.
Daily Shaving: Unscrew cap, twist bottom of tube to expose about ½” of soap, run soap over area to be shaved at least 3 times, then lather directly on face with wet brush (not excessively wet). After about 10-15 seconds of lathering, thick foam will be generated. For those gents who do not use a shaving brush (unimaginable!), run the stick over the area to be shaved, create lather with wet hands, then shave. You may need to rinse your razor several times during the shave to remove soap from the razor and to keep the soap moist.
Touch-ups: Regardless what form of lubrication you use (hard soap or cream), there always seems to be trouble spots on the face where stubble remains. Simply run the stick over these spots, then follow with your razor. Do not lather the soap. The thin layer of pure glycerin soap on wet skin provides incredible lubrication for easy removal of stubble.
