Avocado oil is rich in β-carotene, lecithin, minerals, and vitamins A, C, D, and E which gives you a highly effective shampoo and body cleansing bar. Avocado oil is extracted from the pulp of the avocado fruit which contains about 60% of oil content, making it an abundant source of essential fatty acids such as oleic acid, palmitic acid, palmitoleic acid, linoleic acid, and alpha-linolenic acid. Since it contains high amounts of essential nutrients, antioxidants, and fats, you can use avocado oil for hair care and skin care. It is especially nourishing for dry scalp and skin. Mineral-rich French pink clay feeds the skin with silica, which is known to boost cell renewal and collagen production to brighten the skin. The purifying minerals kaolinite and calcite act like powerful magnets to detoxify the skin, drawing out dirt, impurities and excess oils. This manly-sized handmade UNSCENTED bar measures approximately 3½” x 2½” x 1” and weighs approximately 5 ounces. The cost of the ingredients in this soap are a bit more expensive than other QEDman Specialty Bars, thus a slightly higher price. This soap is hand-poured and rough-cut. This process naturally produces irregularities in shape and surface texture (characteristics of truly handmade soap) but does not diminish the efficacy of the soap. $9.95

About Babassu Oil: By now you’ve almost certainly heard about the health benefits of coconut oil for hair and skin. In fact, up until recently we were certain that it was the best of the best. We may have discovered something even better: Babassu oil. It is much like coconut oil in that it comes from a palm fruit, is solid at room temperature, melts when it touches your skin, and contains the same vitamins and fatty acids. However, there are many aspects of Babassu that – in our opinion – make it a superior alternative to coconut, palm, or olive oil: it's more lightweight (consequently less likely to clog pores); it soaks in faster; it has a mild, almost non-existent scent; it mixes better with other oils; it deeply moisturizes skin, is anti-microbial (helps prevent body odor) and provides a healthy amount of vitamin E which aids in cell regeneration; its lauric acid is naturally anti-inflammatory; it repairs, softens & shines hair; it nourishes scalp; it promotes healthy nails & cuticles. For all these reasons, our QEDman Babassu soap bars can be used on Hair & Body. They are truly all-purpose soap bars. Further details: About cold process soap
