This is a superb soap. It is formulated with French Red Clay and an assortment of essential oils including orange, ylang ylang and rose geranium. French Red Clay is similar in properties to French Green Clay, with the color difference being attributed to a higher presence of iron oxide. Rich in minerals like iron, calcium, silica, magnesium, etc., French red clay is best suited for normal to oily skin types. It cleanses, detoxifies and exfoliates the skin, leaving it refreshed, toned and rejuvenated. It is purported to heal acne and blemishes by absorbing impurities, stimulating circulation to the skin, and promoting elasticity. Additional skin pampering ingredients include olive oil, coconut oil, organic sustainable palm oil, organic shea butter, and castor oil. French Red Clay can also be used as body soap. The manly-sized handmade bar measures approximately 3½" x 2½" x 1¼" and weighs approximately 5 ounces. This soap is hand-poured and rough-cut.
