The Parker 29L is a "Unisex" model safety razor, mimicking very closely the design of the original Gillette Ladies safety razor -- a razor I have always liked, used and still have in my toiletry locker (Charles QED). What appealed to me about the original Gillette Ladies safety razor was not only the great shave, but the long relatively slim handle which gave me better control. The Parker double edge razor has a traditional TTO (Twist To Open) handle that opens the butterfly head for easy installation and removal of razor blades, and uses any modern double edge blade. The hefty 2.8 ounce one-piece razor measures approximately 4-1/4" tall and has a non-adjustable straight edge head that measures 1-5/8" long x 1" wide. The handle, made from brass and chrome plated, is approximately 4" long and has a knurled pattern for sure grip. Appropriate for wetshaving novices and experts alike. Many women have gone back to using this type of razor due to the close shave it delivers, long handle and low cost of the blades. Blades are not included with razor so remember to order them.
