Open the blade arm clip as illustrated below by simply rotating the clip upwards.
The entire stainless steel arm is actually two pieces, one piece sitting atop the other. Separate the blade arm as illustrated below by slightly lifting the top arm until the holes in its side clear the two pins in the lower arm; separation is achieved by inserting a fingernail into the small seam-opening at the very end of the blade arm, then lifting and rotating top arm.
Align blade against position pins in lower arm as illustrated below: this will properly seat the blade so its cutting edge slightly protrudes beyond the bottom border of the bottom arm. For this illustration we used a 7am double edge blade which we snapped in half (for safety, always leave the double edge blade inside its wrap when performing this function).
While performing the following, be EXTREMELY CAREFUL not to touch the cutting edge of the blade. Join the two blade arms making certain the 2 pins in the bottom arm align with the 2 holes in the top arm and making certain not to unseat the blade from the two position pins (you will have to slightly lift the top arm to properly position it) then snap both arms together and secure blade arm clip as illustrated below.
Be extremely careful when: (1) removing or returning the razor arm to its handle in between shaves; (2) installing a replacement blade. You must always be aware there is a very sharp blade attached to the end of the arm.
