The short answer ... YES!

The main difference between Aftershaves, Colognes, Toilet Waters and Perfumes is supposed to be the percentage of scented oils used in them, Aftershaves contain 1%-3%, Colognes 2%-5%, Toilet Waters 4%-8%, and Perfumes 15%-30%. If the same scent is offered in all 4 strengths, as you progress from Aftershave to Perfume the bottles typically get smaller and the prices get higher. Theoretically, the higher the percentage of scented oils, the more robust and the longer lasting the fragrance. However, there is no law governing the classification of scents, so there may be little difference in the percentage of scented oils contained in some Aftershaves, Colognes and Toilet Waters. Noteworthy (because it could save you money), application of alcohol-based Aftershaves is not restricted to just the face; they can also be worn as body Colognes. Though some Aftershaves may contain additional ingredients that either soothe or slightly moisturize the skin, such ingredients do not make it inappropriate to use these alcohol-based Aftershaves as body Colognes. In fact, these additional ingredients would actually be positive attributes.
